"If you are considering living here, please read first: I have lived at Bayview Apartment Homes for several years. I have been considering whether to give this review now or wait until I move, but I cannot keep this in any longer. Warning: this review is long, but please read it if you are considering moving here. The entire office staff needs to be replaced; they are very dismissive when you ask them about your concerns. It takes months to get things fixed, and the property is unkept. In May 2024, I went to the office about my thermostat giving problems; they came and checked it out and gave me a raggedy window unit for several days until they finally changed the AC unit outside; after a few weeks, the AC went out again. On July 3rd, the maintenance guy said he could not fix it and that they needed to bring in an outside electrician. He ran a brown wire from the outside AC unit up to my patio, through my living room and dining room, and attached it to the panel in my bathroom. I asked numerous times when they would remove the wire and fix my AC correctly, but whenever I went to the office and mentioned it, they acted like this was the first time hearing about my concerns. They finally came in September, removed the wire, and brought in the electrician, but my thermostat is still not turning off when on auto. Another thing: It has been three weeks since I asked them to replace two bulbs in the breezeway as it is dark, which poses a safety issue when leaving home and returning when it is dark outside. The Pool looks like a lagoon; I do not believe it was used during the summer; the grass grows almost knee-high before they cut it, and the access gates have been broken for months. The rent may be more affordable than other apartments in the area, but I suggest you pay the extra money and move to where your concerns will be addressed professionally; you will feel safe leaving and returning home, and the community will be well-kept. I am including screenshots of my communications with them as proof of all the issues addressed in my review."
"Hands down, the BEST office staff and management! Melissa made the application process so easy and smooth, she kept us informed of each step and If we had any questions or concerns she addressed them right away. I cannot thank her enough for all her hard work and genuinely caring that this was going to be our new home. The property is clean as well as the units. The pool is awesome, so is any of the public areas on the property? I am so truly blessed that we found this place and we love our new home. We will be here many many years to come."
"Hands down love Mr Dusty on maintenance!! He’s very friendly and always strikes up a conversation with you. Anytime I’ve had an issue and needed something fixed he’s always been the one to show up and get the job done. He also communicates and walks you through the process. By far the best there is when it comes to living in an apartment complex. Wish we had more people like him."
"I came to do a review for these apartments and saw all the “positive” reviews for maintenance and I was shocked. These reviews must have been done by family/friends. The maintenance and office staff are horrible, nothing gets fixed in a timely manner and the office staff are very rude. The apartments are very dark at night, you should take a random drive through at night and see for yourself if you are considering moving here. I do not recommend anyone to move here, these apartments are absolutely horrible."
