"We have lived here for a year & moving out! It is affordable, but it did come with some issues. When we moved in none of the plus in our bathroom or kitchen has worked and it was brought up but never fixed. The windows don’t have great insulation you can feel the air coming in through them, and when hurricane beryl came through water had come in which we cleaned up ourselves after emailing them about it with no responses. We had been without hot water for a few weeks, along with an ant problem that was reported multiple times and never taken care of until we took it into our own hands. We were told there’s a trash service and when we first moved in we did put it out as told but it was never picked up, so since then we’ve always just thrown it out ourselves. We had a mold issue with our vents, and after it was cleaned we found our own vacuum caked up with gross black stuff on the attachment. Overall insulation is awful and the apartments get hot easily, which is probably why you’ll see an air conditioner in the windows in most units. The poor stray cats too, and more appear. Sketchy cars pop up here and there, and yes the cops will sit in the parking lot and I’ve been pulled over just going into the apartments. The concrete is beyond destroyed, with rebar coming out it which has almost taken out multiple cars. The parking lot floods, people don’t pick up their dog poop ever. There’s been a lot, so yes these are affordable but at what cost? The residents who have been long term, deserve better honestly. As of lately is just seems like everything progressively going downhill. There’s older people here who deserve the effort being put in. The owner needs to invest more into the property to be able to fix it, but they won’t."
"I have lived here for 3 years.. Now that we have new management, things are getting done!! Our new manager Jaime, is an amazing person. She really cares about us residents, and the property. There are upgrades happening, things getting fixed, old problems being addressed. I love this property. It’s quiet, family oriented, small community. I definitely feel safe here. Haven’t had any safety issues in the 3 years I’ve been here! The units are big, inexpensive, and I love being in the friendswood area.. The schools are CCISD district. Awesome schools. You really can’t beat the size, price, and location.. And our new manager is really improving things!!! Thank you Jaime!"
"This place is honestly worth a shot. A lot of the negative comments are all as a result of the old manager. But the place has new management, new maintenance crew etc. Now when you call, someone picks up the phone. Maintenance request's do get a fast response, and the place is slowly being brought back to life. Seriously the new staff are doing their best to clean up the train wreck the old manager left behind. They are good at what they do. The property itself for the price is truly decent. Its not far from baybrook mall and all the shopping centers and restaurants. Kids go to a great school district and its close to some beautiful Friendswood parks. Our family has called this place home for almost 7 years."
"Trash apartment all the way round like they threw it together and never maintained it. The area quiet tho bunch of drug and lot lizzard activity for sure and management either meth heads or crack heads from first glance to first words out they mouth don’t take my word for it you want to see what I’m talking bout come on the weekend park at the back of the donut shop between 4p and 7p and just watch also the trash you pay for is never removed every week all week the apartment has trash on every step I believe this pls needs new management"
"I’ve only met/talked to the manager (Shannon) once for the year & 6 months that I’ve lived at Bridgestone. Whenever I call the office, I get an answering service. She never returns my phone calls. AFTER A YEAR! When I go to the office, she’s never there. So any issues that I had never got resolved.
The property needs some TLC. Stray cats and dog poo EVERYWHERE. No one cleans up after dogs. I have a chihuahua who is very chill & I have to be careful when taking her out because some of the tenants don’t put their big aggressive dogs on a leash.
Sometimes your water is cut off & you have no idea as to why... even when you’ve paid your bill.
If this is your last resort, go for it but this is not a place you can call home. Save yourself a headache!"
