"Don’t move here unless you want your tires stolen and your car broken into! Had multiple residents stop by while trying to file a report and they all stated that it happens ALL THE TIME. If this is a frequent issue, why is there not some sort of security in the parking
I later realized that three other cars on level three ALSO got their cars broken into and left on bricks. After talking to some residents, not only did I learn that this is being the new norm, but you also have to worry about your vehicle just being straight up STOLEN.
But hey, they’ll send out a small little woman in a golf cart to sit and stare at the front gate for a few hours - She’s usually gone by 7/7:30 so basically NO type of security has been implemented although this has been a constant issue & residents have been begging for some type of action. But instead, we get an email reminding us not to leave items in our car and to report strange activity. Which almost felt like the blame was being shifted although not one thing was in my vehicle..
Upkeep to the complex is non-existent.. Hallway walls don’t look like they’ve been painted since they been built. Takes about a week for the trash cans in the courtyard to be emptied. Landscaping in the courtyard is over grown & dead. The hammocks that they always post on instagram? Haven’t seen them since I’ve moved in. Pool looks gross. The key fob sensor in courtyard 1 to get back into the building has not worked since I’ve moved in and usually ends up getting propped open so you’re not locked out. Not only is this a safety issue (again, safety does not exist at this complex!!!) but it’s brings in bugs, mulch, trash.. and it has yet to be touched my someone working here. If you don’t want to maintain it, AT LEAST fix the key fob sensor. And the garage elevator hasn’t worked since I’ve moved in. Starting to pick up on the trends?
Oh and if you work from home, the internet is absolutely horrible. The internet is included in their amenities package, which at first I thought was cool - 1 less bill I have to remember to pay but it’s literal trash. My last complex only had Xfinity built in but you least had options on internet speeds. Here the router is on the ceiling (odd, but ok) and you aren’t able to reset it - you have to call the customer service line but no worries, it’ll be two days before a tech reaches out to help!
The whole point of this.. don’t move here. I’m a big review reader and I saw similar concerns but I usually take reviews with a grain of salt and figured “eh, it can’t be that bad..” No. It’s literally that bad. Run.
I will give credit where credit is due - Ulises is great. Very personable, respectful. Never talked to the others in the office but have heard horrible stories.
So in conclusion, sOoOoOo many other better / cheaper / safer places to live in the Heights.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk!"
