"VERY NASTY AND UNPROFESSIONAL LEASING AGENT!
I recently moved to Houston after closing my business after 7 years and am looking for apartments in an affordable price range since I'm no longer making the money I once was. This place was recommended to me. They are income restricted (which was good bc that's what I need) and they made it VERY clear, almost to the point where you feel they don't even want you to apply. I came for a viewing this past Saturday and went through the "income qualification" so that I could see the apartment. The lady was kind but, didn't work directly for the office. I like the apartments a lot as they are brand spanking new ( opened in December) and there isn't really much to see bc they are not really an established community as of yet. I scheduled a second viewing to see a vacant apartment instead of a staged one( I have lots of furniture having moved from a house) and spoke with a nice lady on the phone, when I arrived I met the woman that I had been speaking to on the phone. She told me again, that she did not work directly for the office directly and led me in to introduce me to a woman that did, Kiara I believe her name is. When she introduced me to Kiara, she didn't even acknowledge me. No words at all. In fact she didn't even lift her head to look at me once. Extremely unprofessional! After viewing another apartment which turned out to be the wrong floor plan and having to come back down to the office and inquire with the rude woman. She asks me what income bracket I fell in in a very passive aggressive manner, after reciting again, the bracket and income, she continues to go back and forth with me, as if I don't know how much money I make! She reluctantly goes to the back and gets the key for the correct apartment and without any further acknowledgment of me, she rudely instructs the nice woman to show me the apartment. When coming back into the office to end the visit and discuss my further questions, she did not even say another word to me in fact she had such a nasty and condescending way about herself that I felt compelled to write this. I immediately began looking for other alternatives as soon as I got in the car. It's not as if anyone wants to be in this situation to have to look for income restricted places and to be treated as if I meant nothing when in fact I would be paying them to live there is outrageous! Just bc I'm in this situation doesn't mean that I should be treated like a peasant. I hope that all of the office staff and management are nothing like her, as I would never want to interact with this person again for any reason at all."
