"By far, this is the worst place that I have ever filled out an application for.
I found an apartment with these people, and I applied, knowing that I make more money than what they’re asking for. Instead of someone reviewing your application, they let a computer make a decision and then quickly pocket your money.
Keep in mind they charge $85 per person for the application plus an additional $150 for admin fees. And since they let a computer make a decision for them, the only thing that keep it your individual application fee.
I honestly believe that they’re running some sort of scams to just collect application fees from different people.
Iris, who picks up the phone is the most rudest person. She doesn’t give a damn about helping you know that she even care about assisting you. Be aware. This place may look good on the outside, but I promise you they’re running some sort of scam just to collect individual Application fees.
It may sound far-fetched however if they charge 10 people per day for application fees, that’s more than an extra thousand dollars that day don’t have to return."
"I relocated to Houston from Ohio and Summerwind was the 3rd apartment complex I went to visit after Hurricane Beryl and the only with power. Iris took me on a tour, the property is beautiful (looks just like the photos) and I applied that same day! She has been the best part of Summerwind thus far! From fast replies to helping me switch to a bigger unit, she has been so respectful, helpful and patient with me and it is greatly appreciated! Can't wait to move in my new apt :-)"
"I moved into the Summerwind complex on Sept 9, 2024. Although the neighborhood is great, my overall experience has been disappointing. Some of the staff are unfriendly, difficult to deal with, or slow to respond. Additionally, some of the exterior lights in common areas remain off at night, making the complex feel dark and uninviting. To top it off, I discovered pests in my apartment on my very first night after moving in."
"My 1st time visiting this property and on entering the residence is beautiful ? everything was nice and clean. It’s located In the heart of Pearland where all the shopping center are, so you can’t get bored. Jacob was super nice and inviting.. like he had a ph degree in hospitality ( I felt soo comfortable like I was at home ) when I left I hurried home to fill out my online application! ?? Fingers crossed that I get the apt I desire! The apt layout is amazing and how spacious the bedrooms had me jumping for joy ?!! If you are looking to lease an apartment this should be your first and hopefully last stop!!!!! You will love it too!!!!"
"Iris , from leasing office , the lack of respect for my time gave me an idea on how I’m going to be treated if I choose to join this community. I had to call the office on two occasions to learn that the apartment I’m scheduled to view won’t be available. And I was still receiving automated reminders to attend the appointment. When finally arrived to the appointment (she) schedules and confirms ,knowing that I’m taking an hour from work to view it , she tells me an application has been received already, but didn’t want to cancel your appointment because it was not approved yet. How about a courtesy call with an update ma’am . It’s either lack of respect or games she’s been playing . Either way No thanks"
