"Walked in for a tour one day and was kicked out of the office by a staff member who was having lunch. It’s cool have your lunch but she was rude about how she did it. After getting a tour one day my gf and I decided to apply. They advertise the application fee as $60 per applicant. But IT IS NOT! Its $135 per applicant after they thrown on a bunch of random fees. So we toss them $270 and lose contact for months, no one is answering the phone, responding to emails or anything. I find the time I walk in one day only to be told that the previous staff was all fired and my application was forgotten about. The previous staff did mention I CAN get a refund if we get denied or if other circumstances result in us not being able to live there. After talking face to face with one of the new staff members she told me they were wrong but she can try to get me a refund. Haven’t heard anything back at all in 2 weeks. $270 down the drain and had to find a new lease last minute somewhere else. Terrible communication, overpriced application fees, run on an old system for some old apartments. If you apply or live here, keep records of everything."
"My son got his first apartment, the staff was so professional, helpful and knowledgeable. The experience was very easy. Chloe toured us at both properties. She was great, made the whole process very simple."
"Got my first apartment from Chloe, who is an awesome leasing agent. She was able to answer all my questions and provide great feedback when voicing any concerns I had. Very professional and courteous"
"I’ve really enjoyed living in this neighborhood. It has a quiet and peaceful community, and the neighbors are friendly and considerate, which makes for a wonderful living experience. However, there is one ongoing issue that could use attention. The trash can, which is often overfilled, becomes an eyesore. There's frequently trash scattered around the bin, and large furniture piles up behind the wooden fence. Given that we pay a $15 monthly community maintenance fee, I believe this problem could easily be solved by providing a larger trash bin, especially since there’s plenty of space for one. Addressing this would make the area even more pleasant for everyone."
"Stopped by around 1:30 there was a sign that said closed will be back at 2:30, ended up coming back later around 4 and was walking in when greeted by office lease employee and was told she was on her way out. Wasn’t able to tour, or get information about the property. Lady was very rude and didn’t even seem interested on helping. Definitely won’t be returning, would recommend The Gates next door, very friendly and informative."
"My experience was a little difficult but Bianca helped me a lot so that my application was successful. She was very nice, kind and had a lot of patience in the process. I had some things to solve in my apartment but they solved it quickly and the maintenance guy was very kind and respectful,"
"Horrible place to live. It is mandatory to pay for cable service, we pay for amenities, and we also have to pay the HOA fee, and this is ridiculous because they NEVER clean the pool, the one next to the gas station, and we DON'T have access to it. They keep it closed specially on summer. I've been reporting this for years and the management only "apologies for the inconvenience" but they never open the pool area."
"Visited the property a couple of weeks ago and Bianca gave me a tour of the property. During the tour I observed that the property was kept very clean and maintained in order. There was an issue trying to access the units with the correct keys, keys were not readily available.
My four stars goes out to Mrs. Minerva in the leasing office. She is the assistant manager for the property and is very knowledgeable, approachable, and kind! We had a beautiful conversation and she really blessed me with her company. If you have an opportunity to speak with Minerva I'm sure she will treat you just as she did me.
Reluctant to give 5 starts because Summit Properties is dealing with a hearty amount of technical errors on their part. Application process online hasn't been working for over a week, virtual tours work sometimes and don't work the other half of the time, and wrong listings posted on floor plans available. If Summit Proprieties could fix their technical errors, not just at this property but their sister sites as well, I'm sure I would have given 5 stars. Something for Summit to look into though."
