"Terrible Living Experience – Black Mold
I regret ever moving into the Richmond apartment complex. For months, I raised concerns about potential mold in my unit due to health symptoms I developed. Despite repeated requests to maintenance to investigate, they brushed me off and failed to act promptly.
It wasn’t until months later, when they finally cut into the wall, that the real issue was revealed: the entire Sheetrock was covered in black mold. This could have been addressed earlier had they taken my concerns seriously. The negligence and lack of urgency not only damaged my trust in the management but also severely impacted my health."
"Rent is nicely priced and they always have fun little amenities. They served tacos this morning as a little drive up on the way to work. 10/10 love my apartment complex "
"Not worth living here. The structure of this complex is built off & leans on the south side. So the walls have cracks from floor to ceiling & cracks coming from windows and doors,. These cracks aren’t just a streak of a line, they are thick enough that the Gypsum & wall paint is falling off of the wall. You can see the net in the wall because of this. In about 2-5 years this building will have serious problems from the construction. The garage isn’t built correctly either. The width in between parking spots is not the required 24’-0”. When cars are turning to the next level, they try not to hit the wall because its so tight, so they drive in the middle. So cars accidently hit each other because there is no room. Exiting the garage is even worse, having to waiting on multiple cars because there is not the correct amount of room. When you exit the complex, be prepared for the front of your car to get messed up daily. The entry has a slope down to richmond road & the slope is definitely not according to code. Whoever designed the place did a horrible & cheap job. The LVT tiles in the apartments are cheap & can easily be bent. The tiles in the bathroom move (bc of the horrible construction) so there’s huge cracks and gaps for bugs to get in from inside the wall. The counter tops are easily stainable, not a single appliance in my apartment works, had to replace the fridge twice, the dishwasher does not wash properly, had to replace the washer & dryer, the sinks leak underneath & destroy the cabinets & items in the cabinets. The walls are so thin you can hear ur next door neighbors as well as above. The hallways are ALWAYS dirty & stained. The owner of this place chose really cheap sealed concrete, so you will see stains on the ground all the time & everywhere. All of this for $2,000+ a month. They will tell you your price is $1500 a month but they wont tell you about all of these extra fees which end up costing even more. The electric is separate, they charge for random things, trash service even if u dont use it, & a fee online making payments. Its not worth living here, at all & I wish I could get out of my lease. This place is horrible."
"Great place to stay! I’ve lived here for a few months now and haven’t had any problems. The maintenance and office staff are prompt with answering questions and fixing problems. A police officer lives on-site and is very responsive, keeping our community safe."
"Disgusting place to live. Pleasing to the eyes, but crime happens here often and they are willing to do nothing to fix it. Tires have been taken many times, and even from multiple cars at a time. Cars have been broken into and they do nothing to fix problems. Told one victim that they didn’t want to the community to know because it would spark panic. Gave excuse of how the few cameras they do have wouldn’t haven’t been able to see. At one point in time we had security at night. There was a person and car stationed to our complex, but they were fired due to falling asleep while on watch. That was over a year ago and they have still yet to bring in a new company to replace the previous one. When I moved in and agreed to make payments towards this complex, I was promised and given the reassurance of security at night. Trash is another problem. Because of how they don’t care about the residents, they never care to crack down on how people trash the place. From disgusting overflow trash in the garage, to not being able to walk into a trash chute closet, to people breaking windows of barrier doors to get in with fire extinguishers. They did not and still have not added any security measures. Elevators will be out for months and look exactly how it does in the photo below. They change staff like I change clothes. When brought with a problem, you in return hear, well not since I’ve been here. I wonder why you don’t know anything then. Can’t wait for lease to be up so I can leave this copy cat of a Chicago place to be in the past. This place is horrible and a cesspool to live in. Can’t count how many people I know personally that have left because of just these few things I’ve mentioned, and I’m right behind them."
"I applied here 6 months ago and Bri, Kyara, and Jenny helped me out so much with the move in process! They made the move in process easy for me moving from out of state. They made me feel comfortable and I’ve been here a good amount of time. I would def would recommend!"
"DO NOT MOVE HERE.. the photos speak for themselves, very trashy unprofessional place . Even homeless drunk people come in and out with no problem to sleep in the lounge area ."
"I hate this building and I have never felt so unsafe. I been here for years and this had to be the worst experience ever. Water bill high for no reason and no one can really give you an answer what causing it to be high . they say it the meter! When the power goes out so does the water . 2 years ago it was never like that.
Elevator doesn’t work ! We have 3 in the building only the one by the leasing work . Side gate doesn’t open or close . Front garage gate broke ! Under staff with maintenance! I have requested to get something fix In my home for 2 months now. Key fobs barely work. Never again!"
"Do not live here. No power or WATER for a week during hurricane beryl bc their water and electricity are connected. No help from the complex. The elevators never work. The hallways smell like trash, the stairways are disgusting to walk through cause they don’t clean. The staff is unorganized and unresponsive. They constantly reschedule things that involve us moving our cars to certain areas of the garage or else you get TOWED. They change dates without notice about these events as well. Maintenance requests are slow. The rent price increased for literally no reason and they didn’t tell me about it until after my 90 day notice to vacate window had already passed. Nothing has improved, if anything things are worse. I have lived here over a year and regret not signing at another place. Not to mention the horrid speed bumps in the parking garage. And my water bill has increased every month even though I am hardly home and when I asked them about it, they say I need to contact Conservice. I did and conservice told me I need to place a work order to have the apt check for any water leaks…. The maintenance request for this has been “in progress” for a month. Additionally, every service request I ask maintenance NOT to enter without an appointment and they totally disregard it and enter my apartment without my consent. I hate it here."
